From unemployed people looking to make the leap to entrepreneurship to employed people wanting a new adventure, our mission is to provide FREE training, support, and guidance to all Georgians who want to launch their own business.

12 Week Virtual Program

This FREE program began August 10th, 2020 with weekly mentor led community groups, practical and tactical learning labs, and an opportunity to apply for seed/grant funding at completion of the program. Start It Up Georgia was open to everyone who wanted to learn how to launch a sustainable business.

12 Interactive Lesson Labs

The program consisted of 12 weekly, interactive and virtual Lesson Labs led by experts in their field. Each Monday, from 12:30-1:30pm, entrepreneurs learned practical and tangible lessons on how to launch a sustainable business.

Mentor Led
Community Groups

Each participant was placed into a small group of up to 10 entrepreneurs and an assigned Mentor to meet weekly to further discuss labs, action items, and work through questions in an open and supportive setting.

Who Can Apply?

Applications closed August 3rd. If you didn't get your application in, we'll see you next year! While this free program was created for Georgians, we are open to anyone and everyone who is unemployed and/or looking to start something new no matter where you live. If you complete the application below, you are in. Pretty cool, right?

Our state is currently facing the highest unemployment rate on record (12%). We created SIUG to help accelerate our economy and help more Georgians launch and own a business and ultimately control their own destiny.
